E-Learning
The advent of the CD-ROM ushered in a new way of learning that opened up possibilities for training that couldn't have been imagined only ten years ago. Being able to experience audio, video, and student interaction in a form that could enable training to be patterned for specific individuals as well as homogeneous groups revolutioned the teaching process.
The combination of the Internet, mobile computing and computing speed has only served to elevate the electronic learning process to an even higher level. Students at the secondary education, college and corporate stage have a plethora of e-learning options at their disposal now. But as in traditional learning environments, curriculum is still "king," and the variety of powerful digital delivery options must still be subordinate to content.
